The NVBDC Supplier Mentoring Program connects eligible NVBDC Certified SD/VOBs with experienced procurement leaders from top U.S. corporations in a free, structured, 12-month mentorship designed to provide guidance and foster growth and development within your business.
Each mentorship is specifically designed to address the mentee’s unique business goals and challenges, such as recruiting and retaining top talent, marketing a new product or service, or refining operations for scalability. Mentors offer personalized, expert insights and recommendations addressing challenges to help each VOB take actions to support business growth and enhance supplier readiness.

Invitation to participate in veteran panel discussions during our live events.
Ability to participate in a NVBDC Veterans Input Committee.

By participating, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and expertise, strengthen your business, and build relationships that matter.How it works:
Direct Mentoring Approach: Receive customized, confidential, goal-oriented guidance specific to your business. Each VOB is thoughtfully matched with a dedicated corporate mentor to ensure strategic alignment and maximum impact.
Regular Strategic Sessions: Meet regularly (at least every other month) to tackle key business challenges. Gain actionable insights and tools, and receive practical feedback and performance benchmarks to measure progress toward your goals.
Ongoing Support: NVBDC Program Managers offer continuous support throughout the year, including two mid-program cohort check-ins to enhance collaboration and keep momentum strong.
