National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC), a 501c3 Not for Profit organizations, (“NVBDC”, “We” or “Us”), respects the privacy of our users and has created this Privacy Policy to describe the information we collect about you when you visit our website (the “Site”), how that information may be used and disclosed and how we protect your information.

 

Information Collected by NVBDC

Information You Give Us

We receive and store any information you enter on this Site or give us in any other way, including personally identifiable information, when you submit a contact for request, access certain content or features or if you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters.  Such information may include:

  • Your country of residence
  • Your email address
  • Your device information
  • Location Information

NVBDC may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your Postal Code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites. We do not collect, transmit or store credit card information on our Site.

Automatically Collected Information

We receive and store certain types of non-personally identifiable information such as information about your use of the Site, your NVBDC play and your interaction with other users whenever you interact with usand we obtain certain types of non-personally identifiable information when your web browser accesses the Site.  NVBDC may collect site-visitation statistical information through cookies, tools such as Google Analytics, and other technology, such as Google Search Console to speed your navigation of the Site by allowing the Site to recognize each visitor and to track the user’s usage of the Site. 

Log Files

The Site server automatically recognizes the Internet Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) from which you access the Site.  NVBDC may also log your Internet protocol (“IP”) address, which may be helpful, for example, for system administration and troubleshooting purposes. (An IP address indicates the location of your computer on the Internet.)

How NVBDC Uses the Information it Collects

Internal Use.

We may use personally identifiable information about you to analyze Site usage, improve our content and website, and customize the Site’s content, and layout.

External Use

NVBDC will not sell or rent personally identifiable informationabout you to a third party.

Security

In order to protect your information and the information and data contained on our Site, NVBDC employs standard technical, physical and administrative security measures.  Communications with our Site are encrypted through Secured Socket Layer (“SSL”) connections. 

NVBDC makes every effort to protect your information.  However:

NVBDC CANNOT GUARANTEE SECURITY.  NVBDC ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT OCCURS BY NEGLIGENCE OF NVBDC,  ERRORS IN TRANSMISSION, UNAUTHORIZED OR ILLEGAL ACCESS, OR ANY OTHER VEHICLE FOR DISCLOSURE.

THE SITE CONTAINS LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES.  NVBDC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT, TERMS OF USE, OR PRIVACY POLICIES ON ANY THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES, OR PRIVACY PRACTICES BY ANY THIRD PARTIES.

Children Under Thirteen

NVBDC does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.  By using the Site and/or providing personal information, you represent and warrant that you are over the age of 13.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

NVBDC may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the amended terms on this Site.   By viewing, using or accessing the Site, you consent to the Privacy Policy then in effect.
