Abdul Razak Baba – Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Ghana Investment Promotion Centre

Abdul Razak Baba is an accomplished business advisory professional with over a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investment advisory, and digital transformation.

Before joining GIPC, Mr. Baba served as a Director at EY-Parthenon, the global strategy consulting arm of Ernst & Young (EY). At EY-Parthenon, he led strategic transaction advisory for top-tier private equity clients. He also advised Fortune 500 companies on complex multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, carve-outs, and joint ventures across sectors such as healthcare, technology, and advanced manufacturing.

His career also spans roles in data strategy and analytics at Inflexxion, a healthcare technology startup that was eventually acquired by a private equity firm. He also held roles at Deloitte and Northrop Grumman, where he focused on digital transformation and business process improvement.

Mr. Baba holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, an MSc in Information Systems from Strayer University, and a BA in Economics from the University of Science and Technology. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I, and a Certified Associate in Project Management.
