We are excited to announce that our corporate member, CVS Health, in partnership with Roger Williams University, requested that NVBDC nominate Certified Service-Disabled and Veteran-Owned Business participants for their upcoming 8th Annual Executive Learning Series. In total, 20 diverse suppliers will be selected for the 3-day in-person summit, which will be held from September 10 – 12 , 2024. The summit is completely funded by CVS Health, apart from travel costs which are to be covered by the diverse supplier.
10th Annual Executive Learning Series Summit – A CVS Health & Roger Williams University Partnership
We are excited to announce that we are kicking off our 10th Annual Executive Learning Series Summit in partnership with Roger Williams University, University College, Center for Workforce and Professional Development. We will be hosting a 3-day in-person summit, at the CVS Health Rhode Island campus headquarters, which will be held September 10 – 12 , 2024.
In the spirit of partnership, we wanted to provide advanced notice to request your support in providing this opportunity to your members. We are thrilled to have diverse suppliers nominated by none other than YOU, our council partners!
We will be sending another communication June 12th, 2024, but wanted to ensure you had the advanced notice you need to begin thinking about who you would like to nominate to attend the 2024 Summit, as well as to consider which regional affiliates you may distribute this communication to, if applicable. Requirements, qualifications, and an outline of the summit benefits will be shared in the following communication but here are some high-level items to consider in the interim:

- Workshop Sessions
- Capstone Presentations
- Networking Opportunities
- We will be hosting a reunion being this is our 10th Annual Executive Learning Series.
Please also note:
- We ask that you nominate between 3 and 8 suppliers for the summit.
- One person per company may be nominated.
- Diverse suppliers’ revenue should be between $0 and $10M.
- Diverse suppliers must be available to participate during the pre-determined summit dates.

We are confident that our summit will significantly expand and develop the business skills of the diverse suppliers involved and will help them be better prepared for future business with Fortune 500 companies.
