The National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) is proud to welcome PuroClean, through its PuroVet program, as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 NVBDC National Conference — Mission: POSSIBLE, taking place October 4–6, 2026, at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, Michigan.
PuroClean’s support represents more than a sponsorship. It reflects a shared commitment to helping veterans translate the leadership, discipline, resilience, and mission-focused mindset developed through military service into new opportunities in business.
And for veterans attending Mission: POSSIBLE who have considered business ownership, there will be an opportunity to explore that path firsthand.
Stop by the PuroVet Booth
Throughout Mission: POSSIBLE, veterans are encouraged to visit the PuroVet booth and learn about opportunities to own and operate a PuroClean franchise.
PuroVet is PuroClean’s dedicated veteran initiative, designed to help veterans transition their military experience into entrepreneurship within the property restoration industry.
PuroClean operates a network of 550+ locations, with veterans representing a significant and growing part of its franchise system. Today, approximately one in seven PuroClean franchise owners is a veteran, and veterans now represent approximately 50% of new PuroClean franchisees.
Through PuroVet, qualified veterans can receive a 25% discount on the initial franchise fee, along with the training, systems, technology, operational support, and established business model that come with joining the PuroClean network.
From Military Service to Business Ownership
Veterans already possess many of the characteristics that can translate well to franchise ownership: leadership, accountability, teamwork, adaptability, operational discipline, and the ability to execute within a proven system.
PuroVet builds on those strengths.
Rather than starting a company completely from scratch, franchise owners enter business with an established brand, operating procedures, training, marketing resources, technology, and a support network behind them.
For veterans who want to build something of their own while continuing to serve their communities, PuroVet offers an opportunity to explore entrepreneurship in the growing property restoration industry.
A Special PuroVet Session at Mission: POSSIBLE
Veterans interested in learning more can also attend the special “Franchising With PuroClean’s PuroVet Program” breakout session on Tuesday, October 6, from 3:00–5:00 PM at MotorCity Casino Hotel.
The session will provide a deeper look at the PuroClean business model, the PuroVet program, franchise ownership, and what veterans should consider when evaluating whether entrepreneurship is right for their next mission.
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from those involved with the program.
A Shared Commitment to Veteran Entrepreneurship
Mission: POSSIBLE is about creating opportunities for veterans to Connect. Compete. Grow.
For some attendees, that may mean securing relationships with new corporate customers. For others, it may mean developing partnerships, accessing resources, or preparing their existing businesses for the next stage of growth.
And for some veterans, the next opportunity may be business ownership itself.
NVBDC is proud to have PuroClean and PuroVet serving as the Presenting Sponsor of Mission: POSSIBLE and supporting the broader mission of veteran entrepreneurship.
