The National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) Military & Veteran Organization (MVO) Task Force proudly recognizes one of its valued members, Remember Veteran Grave Markers Inc. (RVGM Inc.), for receiving the prestigious Excellence in Community Service Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
The award, presented by Regent Mary Billmeier of the Ft. Industry Chapter, is a nationally recognized honor that celebrates organizations making a meaningful impact in their communities. RVGM Inc. was nominated at the local level and selected for its outstanding commitment to preserving the legacy of our nation’s veterans.
Since its founding in 2023, RVGM Inc. has demonstrated unwavering dedication to honoring those who served by promoting the cleaning, restoration, and preservation of government-issued veteran grave markers and headstones across Lucas County, Ohio. Their work ensures that the memory and sacrifice of our veterans remain visible and respected for generations to come.
As a service-disabled veteran-owned, volunteer-driven nonprofit, RVGM Inc. embodies the very mission of the NVBDC MVO Task Force—bringing together trusted organizations that uplift, support, and advocate for veterans and their families in meaningful, lasting ways.
“This recognition is a testament not only to the impact of RVGM Inc., but to the power of collaboration within the veteran community and the MVO Task Force,” said the NVBDC MVO Task Force Director and Board Member LTC (Ret) Kathy Poynton. “We are proud to stand alongside organizations that turn purpose into action and remembrance into service.”
The NVBDC MVO Task Force continues to build a strong network of organizations committed to creating opportunities, preserving legacies, and strengthening the veteran ecosystem nationwide.
