World Trade Week New York : kick off May 6, 2026

In conjunction with 2026 World Trade Week May 4 – 8 across the United States, 2026 World Trade Week NYC will once again this year bring together a dynamic network of more than 70 organizations in the New York metropolitan area working together to highlight the vital role of international trade in our regional economy.
Hosted by the New York District Export Council, this year’s version of World Trade Week NYC kicks off with an invitation-only gathering of international trade professionals on Wednesday May 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the William and Anita Newman Conference Center on the 7th floor of Baruch College’s vertical campus at 151 East 25th Street, where light refreshments will be served.
The event will be highlighted by a keynote speech by Rodrigo Torellini, CEO of Sparx Logistics, focused on the growing application of artificial intelligence in international trade and an interview with Tom Cook, managing director of Blue Tiger, about how geopolitical events are shaping the future of global trade. The sessions, led by private and public sector experts, will feature tradecraft trainings, industry-focused educational sessions, and programs illuminating the impact of the latest U.S. trade deals.
