National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) is excited to attend the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) in Nashville, TN taking place March 20-23, 2023.  NVBDC will be among the exhibitors at the Annual Conference and will staff a booth that will enable attendees to learn more about the benefits of NVBDC SD/VOB Certification that has opened up a $96 Billion supplier diversity marketplace.   As the original Veteran Business Certification organization that provides certification and resources exclusively to veteran-owned businesses, including Women Veteran Owned Businesses, NVBDC is committed to helping all veteran-owned businesses grow and succeed and we are excited to attend the WEBNC Annual Conference to connect with women veteran business owners and teach them how to potentially double their opportunities by also being NVBDC certified.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) provides the gold standard certification for women-owned businesses, and the professional development, tools and resources to help them succeed, and each year, their dynamic and diverse network comes together to fuel opportunities for women entrepreneurs. The WBENC National Conference is the largest event of its kind for women business owners, welcoming thousands of women entrepreneurs and corporate executives ready to make connections and do business.

If you are a Woman Veteran Business Owner, this is your opportunity to meet NVBDC Board Members MVO Task Force Director LTC (Ret) Kathryn Poynton and Major (Ret) Annette Stevenson and find out why YOUR Certified Woman Veteran Business status is in great demand.

Lieutenant Colonel (ret) Kathy Poynton serves on NVBDC’s Board of Directors and is currently the Director of the organization’s MVO Task Force.  In that capacity, Kathy works with numerous MSO’s/VSO’s  to increase awareness of NVBDC in its mission to support Veteran success in business.

Annette Stevenson is a former U.S. Army Officer with over 30 years’ experience in driving supplier diversity initiatives.  Having worked in various sectors of industry, including Federal and State Government, Corporate America and Non-Profits, Annette currently serves as the President of Stevenson Consulting Group.  A proven leader who is passionate about supplier diversity, she led the effort to add Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) to the SAS supplier diversity program.
