The National Veteran Business Development Council is Changing how American Businesses perceive Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Companies.
NVBDC conducted a nationwide survey with Veteran Business Owners to capture the statistics of their business operations. The level of responses and the number of completed surveys prove that National Veteran Business Development Council has taken a strong foothold on the National/International stage as the top ranked veteran business certification organization in the nation and in our industry.
Our corporate members provided us with a list of questions that they wanted answered.
We asked respondents to identify their type of business with a choice of Service Provider or Manufacturer. We asked Service Providers to select the best match from a list of over 500 business types and in the survey results we are providing their top 10 selections.
National Veteran Business Development Council Corporate Members were also looking for specific products. We asked respondents if their business applied to any of the categories from the service list we included in the survey and did they have the minimum revenue that our members were looking for. We even asked our VOBs if they work full time for your Veteran Business or is it a side job?
The results have been characterized as “very informative”, “enlightening” and “positive” by the preliminary sample of supplier diversity managers that we shared the results from our national survey with. We believe it is in the best interests of our growing certified SD/VOBs and our existing and potential corporate members seeking a more diverse supply chain including more SD/VOBs, to release the survey to the corporations that have express an interest in the veteran business market.
We have included an overview of NVBDC certified SD/VOBs that shows our certified Vets have a total Annual Revenue of $7.2 Billion. The summary includes the Top 10 NVBDC Certified company’s annual revenue amounts, plus the top NAICS and the top industry sectors. The comparison of non-certified and National Veteran Business Development Council certified companies is quite telling.
