The NVBDC recently named  Richard D. Sciacca as the Wisconsin State Manager.  Richard is the Founder and CEO of INTMR LLC, and a proud US Army veteran who has both NVBDC and SDVOSB CVE certifications. He enlisted in the US Army Infantry OCS program in 1967.  He spent much of his active duty serving in US Army Hospitals at Fort Dix, NJ; West Point, NY; Fort Carson, CO; and McGuire AFB Blood Center, NJ.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology & Chemistry from North Dakota State University where he played on their first undefeated NCAA National Championship football team and is an Athletic Hall of Fame member; a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master’s in Health Care Administration and Management from Central Michigan University. A senior executive with over a decade of Fortune 100 corporate management experience, he has maintained a joint venture educational program with the Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee, WI for corporate Healthcare Executives.

He founded and leads a marketing research consulting firm, INTMR LLC, as CEO and his work with Fortune 100-200 healthcare companies has resulted in the successful development and launch of many of the world’s most successful diagnostics instruments, assays, and marketing strategies for companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Beckman Coulter, Cardinal Health, Danaher, GE Healthcare, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Roche Diagnostics, Thermo Fisher Scientific and others. He has invented medical devices, published in medical journals, coauthored FDA Design Control Documents, designed, built and Directed clinical laboratories that were models for the industry. He and his wife Shirley, who had a stellar career with two Major Airlines and also served her country for 14 years with the FBI with a TS/SCI clearance, have recently formed an IRS approved 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in Wisconsin to serve the Veteran community in unique and innovative ways.
