As COVID-19 grows and shuts down more and more of our companies, one thing has become clear: we need to work together to defeat this pandemic. It is vitally important that we coordinate resources, achieve cooperation from all community stakeholders, disseminate information, and, most importantly, build connections even though we are physically isolated.
We are extremely proud of our corporate members who in this time of crisis have reached out to us specifically looking for our Veterans to provide them solutions, services and products. Instead of with-drawing back into the old ways of working with their supply base they have been actively asking for our Veterans.
The NVBDC is working at full speed to get more veterans certified and reaching out to our corporate members to let them know our Veteran business owners are ready to serve once again. We have decided to reach out to our full database of veteran businesses regardless if you are certified or not.
If your company can provide these products or services let us know. Please, send your capability statement and we will forward it to the appropriate corporate members.
Here is our “deal” with you and our corporate members: If they decide to employ your services, you will be required to become NVBDC certified, i.e., expected to submit your application once offered a firm contract. We will notify our corporate member that you have started your application. No promises, corporate America has stepped up and is looking for new Veteran suppliers. If you want this opportunity, then it’s your turn to step up.
Our NVBDC Corporate Members have 100’s of product and service needs. Some have requested to respond directly back to NVBDC, others have provided emails and links to contact them directly.
They are looking to hire our veterans that can help them run their business better, faster and more economically.
